Are there prayer rooms available at MWC?
MWC Barcelona consistently offers peaceful, purpose-built prayer rooms for attendees to reflect and worship. These prayer spaces foster an inclusive environment, ensuring all attendees feel respected and supported in their spiritual practices.
With MWC25 coinciding with Ramadan, we are committed to enhancing the experience for Muslim exhibitors and attendees by providing more central and enhanced facilities, Iftar fasting support and amenities such as Quran copies and information on local mosques amongst others.
Where are the prayer rooms located?
Given the size of the venue, prayer rooms will feature separate areas for males and females to ensure comfort and privacy. These rooms will be situated in central, easily accessible locations for your convenience. Additionally, a dedicated meditation space for all genders will be available in Hall 3. The exact locations can be consulted here.
What are the operating hours for the prayer rooms?
Monday to Wednesday: 08:30h to 19:00h.
Thursday: 08:30h to 16:00h.
Is there a meditation space available?
Yes, there is a meditation space located in Hall 3, alongside the Prayer Rooms. It is open to all attendees seeking a calm place to relax, meditate, or practice mindfulness. Locations and operating hours can be found on the MWC website.
What support is provided for fasting during Ramadan within the venue?
Dates and water are provided at designated areas next to the prayer rooms for Iftar (dusk) each day from 18:00h to 19:00h (Monday to Wednesday). Additionally, information on local mosques in Barcelona will be available in the prayer rooms and on the MWC website.
