The GSMA and Qatar announce the inaugural MWC25 Doha, aligning with Qatar’s National Vision 2030

At MWC25 Barcelona, leaders from the GSMA and the State of Qatar gathered for signing ceremony

4 March 2025, Barcelona: The GSMA and the state of Qatar proudly announce an MWC Doha edition in November 2025. In a signing ceremony today at MWC Barcelona with His Excellency Mohammed bin Ali bin Mohammad Al Mannai, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Qatar and leaders from the GSMA presented the inaugural MWC25 Doha which will take place 25 – 26 November 2025 at the prestigious Doha Exhibition and Convention Center in Qatar. This is the first MWC as part of a 5-year agreement between the GSMA and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Qatar.  

MWC25 Doha is set to bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators who are focused on advancing the next generation of digital societies in the Middle East and beyond. It is this unique combination of exhibition and thought leadership that will make MWC25 Doha an unmissable experience for stakeholders and businesses in the region. The milestone event marks the next chapter in advancing technology, collaboration and growth, aligning perfectly with Qatar’s National Vision 2030.

Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Qatar, stated: “The State of Qatar has established itself as a premier destination for global summits and conferences in the ICT sector, and hosting MWC25 further reinforces this position.
