Speaker Bio
Zhu Ji leads wireless systems and standards at Meta’s Reality Labs, where he is responsible for wireless systems architecture and cellular technology innovations that power seamless AI and Augmented Reality (AR) experiences through wearables. He has also pioneered several key extended reality (XR) technology directions in 5G advanced and B5G. Prior to joining Meta, Zhu led cellular and satellite product and systems development at Apple, and was instrumental in developing Qualcomm’s first LTE chipset.
He has authored and/or co-authored over 140 patents, 30 publications and has made various key XR contributions to 3GPP standards.
