Laurent Arens is the Director of BStartup10 at Banco Sabadell, one of Spain’s most active seed capital investment vehicles. Since its inception in 2014, BStartup10 has invested in over 90 startups, including notable companies like Red Points, Exoticca, Cobee, Inbrain, Signaturit, and Amphora. Laurent began his career at Banco Sabadell in 2016, gaining over seven years of experience in the venture capital sector, primarily focusing on the Spanish startup ecosystem and investing in pre-seed and seed-stage startups. He has also served as a board observer for more than 20 companies.
In addition to his role at BStartup10, Laurent has held various positions within Banco Sabadell, including roles in Corporate Banking and Big Data. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona and a Master’s in Business Management from EAE Business School.
