Speaker Bio
He leads the development of Ksapa’s SUTTI initiative to transform the 1st mile level of agricultural chains. SUTTI leans on a integrated approach combining technical assistance, inclusive mobile & digital solutions through the SUTTI Digital Suite, and innovative impact finance.
Several SUTTI programs ongoing in Asia (Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Philippines …) and Africa (Ivory Coast…) gather governments, corporates, investors, CSOs and researchers in multi-stakeholder coalitions supporting small-scale farmers development programs. SUTTI programs intend to bring multi-dimensional impact – with among others access to capacity building & digitalization, social inclusion, environmental action and increase of farmers revenues.
He also takes part in the development of Ksapa consulting and advocacy activities, stressing on the integration of social & environmental stakes in financial & economic approaches.
Before co-founding Ksapa, he had 20+ years of experience as a manager in finance and investment management as CFO, Deputy Managing Director and Partner at Europrestim Management.
Raphael is a guest Lecturer at Paris Saclay University on Sustainability & Ethics. Member of the Board and manager of several regulated and unregulated companies in different European countries, he also has experience in the internet, distribution and music industries. Passionate about music, he remains involved in music production activities on the side.
Raphaël speaks French, English, German and Portuguese. He holds an M.B.A. from the ESSEC Business School in Paris. He also completed in 2019 a forward-looking course on 'Futures, Innovation and Sustainable Development' at Institut des Futurs Souhaitables.
