Speaker Bio
Mauro has spent more than 25 years in corporate innovation, go-to-market, strategy and operations as an executive, advisor and investor in the TMT sector. Prior to joining SB Telecom Americas, Mauro was a Senior Director at Google X and Chief Strategy Officer at Loon, an Alphabet Other Bet. Previously, Mauro held management positions in Telefonica Vivo and Gradus Consultants in Latin America.
Mauro holds an Engineering degree from UFSCar (Brazil), a Sloan Masters from London Business School, a Directors Consortium from Stanford GSB, and a Public Policy Certificate at Harvard Kennedy School. He is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration with the Grenoble Ecole de Management in France.
Mauro serves on the boards of Altave (computer vision) and Onovolab (innovation ecosystem). He is a start-up mentor at The Alchemist Accelerator and a Venture Partner at Niu Ventures. He is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
