SG Chung is a seasoned IT executive with a distinguished career in technology and telecommunications. As Executive Vice President and head of GPAA Business Division at SK Telecom (SKT), he oversees the company's AI strategies and global expansion.
SG is leading SKT's entry into the global AI service market with Personal AI Agent ‘Aster’. He is spearheading Aster's launch in North America and enhancing its competitiveness through collaborations with global partners. He has been a driving force behind the founding of the Global Telco AI Alliance (GTAA), fostering AI innovation through global telco collaboration to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency across the industry.
He co-leads SK Telecom Americas and is the CEO of Global AI Platform Corp, strengthening SK Telecom’s international presence. He holds a degree in Computer Science from KAIST and an MBA from Georgetown University.
