Head of Group Asset Recovery & Services, TXO
David Evans leads TXO’s global asset recovery, repair, and engineering services, helping telecom operators extend network life, reduce costs, and minimise waste. Since joining in 2014, he has driven TXO’s rapid growth, expanding operations across Europe, North America, South America, and APAC, and building a global team supporting networks in over 150 countries.
Under his leadership, TXO has recovered, repaired, and repurposed millions of network components, saving operators like BT, Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom, millions in costs while keeping thousands of tonnes of e-waste out of landfill.
Before telecom, David had a successful career as a professional rugby player, representing Wales in the IRB World Rugby Sevens Series. He holds a BSc in Criminology from Swansea University and brings a high-performance mindset to TXO’s mission of building a sustainable, circular telecom industry.
