Speaker Bio
Sebastian Anastassiou is a Partner and Head of Investments at Nina Capital, a venture capital firm specializing in health technology investments. He holds a neuroscience degree from the University of Edinburgh and a master's in innovation and management focused on the bioeconomy. Before joining Nina Capital, Sebastian worked at University College London’s technology transfer company, UCLB, where he managed the commercialization of biomedical research through startup creation and commercial licensing. He later earned an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona. Sebastian currently sits on several healthtech startup boards across Europe and the US.
