Álvaro is the CEO and founder of Luzia (Series A, $10M) the largest intelligent personal assistant, transforming everyday tasks, conversations, and experiences into meaningful engagements. He previously worked as VP of Product at JobandTalent, and as Sr. Product Manager for Amazon, spearheading PSD2 adaptations and Amazon Prime growth in Spain and Italy. In 2017, he founded Leuko Labs, aimed at enhancing the lives of chemotherapy patients.
Álvaro holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2017) and a dual bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Business Administration (2011) from Rey Juan Carlos University. He is also an award-winning professor at various universities and enterprises.
A former professional water polo player, Álvaro is a two-time champion of Spain in aquathlon and currently the runner-up in the Spanish Swim-Run championships.
