Kapil Mittal is the Global head of Digital Airspace at Ericsson and leads the initiatives towards integration of Telecom and Aviation through 3GPP technologies such as 5G to support drones, air taxis, and other aerial stakeholders. With over two decades of experience in the Telecom and ICT sectors, Kapil has worked globally, gaining extensive expertise in business creation and scaling, strategic development, and leadership growth.
As the co-founder and former CEO of Ericsson Drone Mobility, a recognized technology challenger in the industry, Kapil has been instrumental in driving innovation in Aerial Mobility. He serves as Co-chair of the GSMA Drone Interest Group and actively contributes as a task force member for ICAO Advanced Air Mobility and the Global UTM Alliance.
Kapil holds a Master's degree in Strategy Management from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and has executive education at Northeastern University USA.
