Speaker Bio
Raised between Africa and Italy, from an early age, she has been developing a global vision of the socio-economic, environmental, and cultural challenges of our time.
With an initial background in Environmental Sciences, since 2001, she has been promoting Sustainable Consumption and Production, in NGOs, the public and private sectors.
In 2004, she founded the first Centre of Education for Sustainable Consumption, in Italy.
Regional reference person for the UNESCO Decade of Education for Sustainable Development and, later, for the Circular Economy and Green Procurement of a Regional Environmental Agency.
She worked for the European Commission and participated in National Expert Work Groups on Sustainable Procurement, Sustainable Consumption and Ecolabels.
These experiences and the purpose of speeding up the transition, led her to enrol in a PhD to study the processes towards greater sustainability of important multinational companies and their people engagement.
Since 2021, as Head of Italy, Spain and LatAm of TCO Development, the organization behind TCO Certified, the global sustainability certification for IT products, she helps organizations improve their IT Sustainable Procurement practices.
