Sergio Furio is the Founder and CEO of Creditas, the leading fintech platform in Latin America, operating across three key ecosystems: Home, Auto, and Employee Benefits. Recognized as one of the top tech companies in the region, Creditas is a benchmark for innovation and talent management. The company has raised a total of $950 million in equity funding from a prestigious group of investors, including SoftBank, Kaszek, Fidelity, Advent, Wellington, Lightrock, Headline, QED Investors, VEF, IFC, Quona Capital, and Mouro Capital (Santander), among others.
Creditas leverages customer assets to provide significantly lower interest rates, addressing the financial challenges faced by millions across Latin America.
In addition to Creditas, Sergio serves as the Chairman of Endeavor Brazil, a leading organization supporting high-impact entrepreneurship, and is also a Partner at Actyus Fintech Venture Capital Fund, where he contributes his expertise to advancing innovation in the fintech sector.
Prior to founding Creditas in 2012, Sergio held leadership roles at The Boston Consulting Group and Deutsche Bank’s Investment Banking division. His vision and expertise have positioned Creditas as a transformative force in the region’s fintech landscape.
