Dr. Philipp Schulte is the CEO of Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) Mobile Security, a global SecurityTech company headquartered in Munich, Germany, and a leading enabler of end-to-end IoT solutions for multiple sectors. In this role, he oversees the development and delivery of cutting-edge products and services that empower businesses across multiple industries to securely navigate the digital age.
Before assuming his current position, Philipp served as Chief Financial Officer of G+D’s Mobile Security business unit starting in 2021 and previously led Corporate Strategy and Development for the G+D Group for five years. Beyond G+D, Philipp has served on the Board of Directors of Netcetera AG, a Swiss software company, contributing to its ongoing innovation in digital solutions.
Earlier in his career, Philipp spent several years as an international management consultant at McKinsey & Company. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology, bringing a rare combination of technical acumen and financial expertise to his leadership roles.
His strategic vision and expertise have been instrumental in driving G+D’s global growth and strengthening its position as a trusted partner in secure connectivity. Under his guidance, G+D Mobile Security continues to pioneer solutions that enable secure and seamless connectivity for a smarter, more connected future.
