Lawrence Jin is Deloitte Global Chinese Services Group Leader and Deloitte C2G (China to Global) Leader.
Lawrence initially joined Deloitte London office and became a partner with Deloitte China in 2005. He has more than 28 years of service experience in Deloitte, UK and China. He was on secondment in the UK leading UK Chinese Services Group in 2008-2010. In that capacity, he advised Chinese companies entering European markets as well as European companies operating in China in a wide range of areas including strategy, M&A, tax and regulatory compliance and audit.
In his role as Deloitte Global Chinese Services Group Leader and Deloitte C2G Leader, Lawrence coordinates Deloitte resources across more than 150 countries and regions and assisting the Chinese enterprises’ globalization. GCSG has over 3,300 Chinese speaking professionals and local experts who understand Chinese business culture across the 6 continents. This dedicated network is committed to providing professional advice and comprehensive solutions to Chinese companies going global and multinationals coming to China.
Lawrence is the LCSP of a number of Deloitte Global / China priority accounts including state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, and foreign enterprises.
Lawrence is the Honorary Professor at the Adam Smith Business School of the University of Glasgow, Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Chairman of the ICAEW China Committee, and a member of both the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
