Speaker Bio
Francisco (Paco) Martín Pignatelli is a Vodafone executive with over 26 years of experience in the mobile industry. He has worked internationally in various global positions in the US and UK, gaining extensive experience across all network domains as well as in customer-facing roles.
More recently, Paco has focused on OPEN RAN, an initiative he leads at Vodafone as Head of OPEN RAN. He pioneered this effort in 2016, and it has since grown to become one of the most significant trends in the mobile industry today, with Vodafone as one of its leading promoters.
In addition to his work with OPEN RAN, Paco is also advancing Direct to Device communications using satellites. He serves as an Alternate Board Member of the ORAN Alliance and as Board Member of the Telecom Infra Project.
