Fortune Barnard is the Security Operations Director at the GSMA. A seasoned technology and security leader with over 25 years of experience. Over the last eight years, his focus has been on digital transformation and using security to drive value creation.
Prior to joining the GSMA, he was the Director of Digital Security & Resilience for Virgin Media O2, the second largest operator in the UK. Before then, he served as CISO for KPMG UK, Global CISO for Toyota Connected, Associate Partner at IBM, Group Security Programme Director for Sky, Global Security Operations Director for KPMG Global.
He holds a MSc in IT and Security, a Stanford professional certificate in Change Management in the Age of Analytics and AI, and a MIT certificate in Applied GenAI for digital transformation.
