Speaker Bio

I am a trained biochemist and immunologist and have worked in the healthcare innovation space for more than 15 years.

I am working with the Grameen organization that was founded by Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus: I am a supervisory board member of Grameen Digital Healthcare Solutions, where we establish a digital+ physical care ecosystem in Bangladesh focused on pregnancy & birth and cardiovascular diseases.
Also, I am an advisory board member of the Yunus Environment Hub.

In addition, I'm working with FH Europe Foundation as a Patient Ambassaor and member of the International Lipoprotein(a) Task Force, focusing on improving health and wellbeing for individuals with lipid disorders.

I am excited to talk about: Patient involvement, EU and country cardiovascular health plans, digitally-enabled health systems, digital health in LMIC & patient-organization-led evidence generation.

Education: PhD in immunology from King's College London and a diploma in biochemistry from Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen (Germany).
