Greg Ameyugo leads the AI and Interactive Systems division at the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), one of the world’s top research and technology organizations.
Greg’s team of 300 researchers and engineers works on game-changing technologies like multimodal AI, robotics, digital twins, immersive simulations, IoT, and human-machine interfaces. Their breakthroughs include brain-controled exoskeletons for tetraplegic patients and force-feedback telepresence from a thousand kilometers away. They’ve earned awards in global challenges like the Waymo Challenge and the International Robothon and work with over 100 companies and 15 spinoffs —all with the goal of creating technology that makes a difference in people’s lives.
Greg co-directs France’s national program in Organic Robotics and the European strategy on AI-powered robots. He sits in the board of several companies and institutions, and advises companies, investors and governments around the world on technology and innovation.
