Will you provide a networking badge?
We will provide all attendees with their networking badge when they enter the venue for the first time. This will be handed to you during the access process.

Can I use my networking badge to enter the venue?
No, you are not able to use your networking badge to access the venue. You will always need to be able to display your Digital Access Pass to enter the perimeter (as well as the Ministerial Programme perimeter, if you have been invited)

What can I use my networking badge for?
Apart from a way to be identified when networking at the venue, your networking badge can be scanned for lead retrieval purposes and can also be used to access conference and other scanned sessions within the venue (subject to eligibility, not permitted for Ministerial Programme perimeter)

Will I get a networking badge every time I enter the venue?
No, your networking badge will only be printed once. When you return to access, we will scan your Digital Access Pass and then go straight into the venue.

I have lost my networking badge / I have left my badge at the hotel
There are a limited number of reprint stations at South Entrance, North Entrance and the VIP Car Drop Off. You can only collect your own badge and reprints are limited to 1 per attendee.

How long can I use the networking function in the event app for?
You can use the networking function for up to 9 months after the event. If you attend another GSMA event, the 9 month time-limit will reset from the last event you attended.

Who can I network with?
You can network with other GSMA event attendees who have also opted-in to networking. This includes attendees from other MWC and M360 events.

Can I opt-out of networking?
Yes, you can opt-out at any time by disabling the networking function within the app or by logging into your registration account and accessing the networking section.

What is enhanced networking?
GSMA offers a curated networking service which proactively facilitates introductions between like-minded event attendees. If you opt-in to enhanced networking, we may use your professional profile to match you with an organisation who has expressed an interest in meeting people like you. If your profile matches their areas of interest, we will ask if you would like to be introduced to them. If you say yes, we will facilitate the introduction. If you say no, an introduction will not take place and your personal details will not be shared with the organisation.

How do I opt-in / opt-out to enhanced networking?
You can opt-in to enhanced networking when registering for the event or via the MWC Event Series app.
You can opt-out at any time by logging into your My MWC account and disabling the enhanced networking service. Once you opt-out, your profile will no longer be visible in the system and you will not be contacted for any introductions.

What happens if I decline an invitation to connect?
If you do not wish to meet an organisation, we will not share your details with them and no introduction will be made. They will not know that you declined their invitation.
