Charlette N'Guessan is a dedicated AI product solutions engineer who firmly believes in technology's ability to solve local challenges.
She is the Data Solutions and Ecosystem Lead at AMINI, a deep-tech startup harnessing space technology and artificial intelligence to address environmental data scarcity in Africa. Their mission is to promote economic inclusion for farmers and enhance supply chain resilience in Africa and beyond.
Before her current role, she co-founded and led the product development of a secure identity verification software utilizing AI-powered facial recognition technology to combat online identity fraud and address biases associated with facial recognition.
Charlette has also co-authored publications, including "The AI Book" by Wifey and Fintech Circle (2020) and "The Rising to the Top" Volume IV by IFEES (International Federation of Engineering Education) and GEDC (Global Engineering Deans Council).
Her significant contributions to the tech industry have earned her numerous prestigious awards and inspired girls and women in STEM, particularly in Africa. She made history as the first woman to receive the Africa Prize of Engineering from the Royal Academy of Engineering and proudly received the Disruptive Technologies Excellence Award from CISO. Additionally, she has been recognized as a Global AI Ambassador for 2023 by SwissCognitive and featured in reputable media as one of the African Women Advancing Artificial Intelligence in Africa and Around the World.
