Heike Freund is the Chief Operating Officer of Marvel Fusion. At Marvel Fusion, Heike focuses her energy on building and scaling the company, professionalizing processes and forming partnerships with industrial partners. Marvel Fusion is developing a novel technology for laser-based fusion as a safe, clean, and reliable energy source. Recent scientific advancements in laser and nanotechnology enable Marvel Fusion's technology.
Prior to joining Marvel Fusion, Heike was a Partner at McKinsey & Company and core member of the Operations Leadership team of McKinsey, where she focused her work on projects in the automotive, machinery and high-tech industry.
Heike has 15+ years of deep experience in leading global industrialization projects. Heike holds an MBA from INSEAD, one of the leading global Business Schools, with study visits in Singapore and France, and a diploma (Masters Degree) in Industrial Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe.
