Speaker Bio
Gillian is a Principal in Risk & Financial Advisory at Deloitte in the US and serves as the Global Lead Client Service Partner for one of Deloitte’s largest global technology clients. Gillian has been with Deloitte for over 28 years and has worked in both the UK and the US across sectors including energy, healthcare, consumer products, and technology—preparing her well for increasing industry convergence and the influence of technology across all industry sectors. Gillian is excited about working with organizations that are not just transforming themselves but are transforming our world and is a regular contributor to Deloitte’s thinking on how to best serve digital platform companies that are transforming the global technology industry through innovation.
Gillian serves as the Global Sector Leader for Technology and is Deloitte’s executive sponsor for the Global Semiconductor Center of Excellence and the Internet Regulation Center of Excellence. In this role she is a frequent speaker on technology trends and contributer to Deloitte publications, particularly the annual Deloitte TMT Predictions launched each December.
Passionate about DE&I, Gillian was one of the original architects and co leads the OnBoarding Women program , that aims to increase the number of women on corporate boards. Combining her tech and DE&I interests, Gillian contributes to Deloitte’s publications focused on women in technology.
Gillian has a BA in Information Science from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland and lives in Seattle with her husband and teenage daughter.
