Michael Bidu is a Canadian serial entrepreneur with nine technology start-ups under his belt and more than 30 years of experience in technology, innovation, business and creativity. Currently he is the Founder and CEO of MYND Therapeutics, a Vancouver-based digital health company that develops advanced digital therapeutics to prevent, treat and manage chronic diseases such as obesity and mental health by combining proven science, evidence-based clinical practice, immersive technologies such as AR/VR/XR and MXR, experiential learning, gamification and story-telling.
With more than twelve years of experience in digital health, Michael was recognized as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Voices in Healthcare globally in May 2022 by Medika Life. Previously, Michael led two digital health technology accelerators where he worked with more than 500 of the world's most promising digital health startups. He is the founding President of DigiBC, Canada’s largest digital media and wireless industry association where he worked with video games, animation and VFX global brands and BC-based studios like EA, Ubisoft, Disney, PIXAR, SONY Image Works, Image Engine and mobile operators and wireless companies such as TELUS, Sierra Wireless and others.
