The future of climate technologies the Global South is poised to revolutionize how developing regions address the challenges of sustainable development. Innovative technologies and digital solutions are emerging in sectors like, agriculture, Aquaculture, circularity, Humanitarian response, renewable energy, Fintech, biodiversity conservation, Sanitation, Early warning systems and climate resilience while also fostering economic growth and sustainable development. Deployment of frontier tech including AI, IoT, Block chain and big data by different players including Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), governments, investors, and enabler organizations are increasingly playing key roles in driving these scalable, impactful solutions. Together, these actors are laying the groundwork for a future where Tech is not only a solution to environmental challenges but also a driver of equitable growth and sustainable development across the Global South.
